Dr. V. B. Soni, IFS (Retd)
Dr.V. B. Soni is a seasoned diplomat with a distinguished career spanning 35 years. He has served in various capacities in Indian diplomatic missions in Moscow, Cairo, Kuala Lumpur and London (1967 to 1983). He was Consul-General of India in Sydney (Australia), Ambassador of India to Senegal, High Commissioner of India to Jamaica and Fiji (1986-1997). He represented India and often headed official Indian delegations to many international conferences.He retired from the Indian Foreign Service in 2002 and his last diplomatic assignment was Ambassador of India to Ukraine from 1997-2002. He is an alumnus of Balliol College, University of Oxford and Universities of Delhi and Allahabad. At Oxford he got distinction in International Affairs.
Dr.Soni guided the three apex Indian Business Chambers – namely, CII, FICCI and ASSOCHAM as a senior Member/Adviser in their deliberations. In addition, he presided over business sessions with visiting Heads of State/Government/Ministers for 10 years. He led a 60-member Indian business delegation as a part of the Indian Presidential entourage during State visits to South Africa and Seychelles in May 2010.
Shri R. P. Singh, IPS (Retd)
Shri Ram Phal Singh is a former IPS officer of Rajasthan cadre, retired in 2014 as Additional Director-General of Police. While in the Indian Police Service he held various assignments as District Superintendent of Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Inspector General of Police and and Additional General of Police in the State of Rajasthan. He was awarded Police Medal by the President of India for meritorious services. He is M.A., LL.B. and published many story books and storiesin various newspapers and magazines. He edited several magazines like Bal Sapan, Pratinidhi Bal Kahanian, Pratinidhi Bal Ekanki and Rajasthan Police Patrika. He was awarded GovindVallabh Pant Award by Govt. of India in 2005 and Dr. Ambedkar Award by Dalit Sahitya Academy in 2010.
Prof. Ayub Khan
Prof. Ayub Khan is Professor, Department of Mathematics,JamiaMilliaIslamia, New Delhi-110025. He is B.Sc. (Hons.), M.Sc. (Maths), M.Phil and Ph.D. from University of Delhi.He was awarded University Grants Commission Junior Research Fellowship entitled” Quasi Periodic Orbits in restricted problems of three bodies” February 1983 to September 1983.He has teaching experience of 31 Years from 1983 to 2013 at Department of Mathematics, Zakir Husain Delhi College (University of Delhi), Delhi and from 2013 onwards at Department of Mathematics, JamiaMilliaIslamia, New Delhi. He was also Assistant Professor College of Telecom and Information Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Research from 2000 to 2002. He guided Ph.D students at Department of Mathematics, Delhi University and at Department of Mathematics, JamiaMilliaIslamia, New Delhi and also examined various Ph.D. theses.
He was Member of various Committees including advisory committee of M.Tech Nanotechnology programme, Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, JMI Member of Central Admission Co-ordination and Monitoring Committee (CACMC), JamiaMilliaIslamia, Board of management, Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Sciences (CIRBSc), JMI, nominated by the Vice Chancellor for the term of three years (From 2013 – 2016), Incharge, Post Graduate Admissions, Department of Mathematics, JMI for the year 2013, Students Union Advisor, Zakir Husain College, Delhi University and Chief Proctor, Zakir Husain College, Delhi University.
His publications include his book Calculus and Geometry for Physical and Applied Physical Sciences and more than 70research papersin national and international journals. He attended and delivered talks at many national and international conferences, seminars and symposium.
Dr. Hari Om
Dr. Hari Om is M.Com. (First Class) and Ph.D. (International Business) from Lucknow University. He has teaching experience of 43 years including 14 years as Principal of Sri Aurobindo College (University of Delhi), Malviya Nagar, New Delhi from where he retired in 2013. He was Member of Executive Council, University of Delhi and Member of Academic Council, University of Delhi.He was also member of various other committees of University of Delhi including Committee of Faculty of Commerce & Business Studies, Working group on Examination Reforms, Business Advisory Committee to the Academic Counciland Medial Courses Admission Committee, Faculty of Medical Science. Presently, he is Member of governing body, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar College.
He has been member Inspection Committee for Management and other technical courses of the Department of Higher Education, N.C.T. of Delhi. He was also Member of Task Force, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Department of Public Enterprises, Government of India for the year 2004-05. Dr. Hari Om attended various National and international Conferences and Seminars in India and abroad and visited various Universities in many countries including England, Sweden, Holland, Germany, Switzerland and France.
Dr. N. K. Chadha
Dr. N. K. Chadha,is a stalwart in the field of Psychology. He was awarded ‘Global Practitioner of the Year 2015 by National Career Development Association, USA at Denver, USA in 2015. Dr. Chadha was also the recipient of the Life Time Achievement Award in Psychology by the International Conference on Multidisciplinary Healthcare in January 2014 held at AIIMS, New Delhi. Prof. Chadha is also the President Elect of Asia Pacific Career Development Association.
Dr. Chadha has held several eminent positions in his lifetime in various capacities: as President: India Career Development; Panel of Judge of Prime Minister’s Trophy (2009-2015); President, Indian Association of Positive Psychology; and as President Elect: Asia Pacific Career Development Association, USA. He has also been a Task Force Member in the Performance Management Division, Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India.He was invited by the UNO at its Head Quarters in New York to represent India on Family Issues to Intergenerational solidarity.
With 40 years of experience in academia and corporate, Dr. Chadha has been a Professor in the Department of Psychology, University of Delhi, and holds a PhD from Delhi University and Post Doctorate from the University of Virginia, USA. He has authored 25 books many of which are used for MA (Psychology and Applied Psychology) and MBA programmes. Having traversed the globe on various academic assignments to countries like USA, UK, Japan, New Zealand, Malta, Spain, Germany, France, Sweden, Hungary, The Netherlands, Australia, Canada, Italy, Bangkok, Taipeiand Hong Kong, Dr. Chadha has supervised 52 PhD theses, 28 dissertations and 118 M.A. dissertations. He has also been involved in the Development of Psychological tests for the DIPR, DRDO, Ministry of Defence, GoI; Hotel Management and Hospitality, Ministry of Tourism; Educomp, US based organizations and private sector too.Presently, he is Professor and Chairperson (Research and Doctoral Program), ManavRachna International University, SurajKund Road, NCD, Delhi
Shri H.K. Chaudhry
Shri H.K. Chaudhry is a practicing Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary since 1964, and is a founder partner of a reputed professional firm of Chartered Accountants in New Delhi.He is a Director and consultant of various companies and a trustee in various Charitable Trusts and Educational Institutions. He is a convener of RashtriyaChetnaManch an NGO set up for removing various ills in politics and social system and for spread of education and control of unmanageable population growth in the country. He is also chief editor of “Chetna Sandesh” a monthly journal of RashtriyaChetnaManch.
Shri Raman Mohan
Shri Raman Mohan is a veteran journalist of Haryana currently living in Hisar. He graduated from Punjab University, Chandigarh and obtained the degree of Bachelor of Journalism from Punjabi University, Patiala. He taught Journalism at the same university for about two years and then joined The Indian Express, Chandigarh as a Staff Reporter in 1977. Three years later, he joined The Tribune, Chandigarh, for which he covered Haryana from 1980 to 1998 when he became Editor of Haryana’s first English daily The Homepages. He rejoined The Tribune in 2000 and took VRS in 2012. He now writes opinion and analytical pieces for various national newspapers and news magazines including The Tribune and Power Politics.
